THE CHALLENGE

A logistics company needed to integrate a new telecommunications operator customer into its Mule ESB system on the one hand, and its associated courier/installer who would carry out the operations required during the logistics process on the other.

THE SOLUTION

The integration solution was implemented using different components:

  • New Mule Flow for loading the client’s XML files containing the Orders.
  • File data transformer to integrate it with the type of orders understood by the existing Flow System in Mule.
  • Courier Integration for:
    • Generate the work order through calling the appropriate Web Service.
    • Generate the Labels (PDF) with the Order Tracking Numbers.
    • Generate PDF Delivery Notes once the Courier has been completed.
  • Completion of the process with the “Sending of Delivery Notes to the Client”.

Our client is focused on the technological products distribution, e-commerce and logistics, mostly for different telecommunications operators.

They have Mule Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) in place to communicate the different systems, both internal to the company and others outside of it.

THE SOLUTION

Given the diversity of systems and the integrations frequency with new ones or the modifications that exist in current ones, the client contracted us to carry out maintenance tasks that included:

  • Incidents resolution and corrective maintenance
  • Evolutionary Maintenance
  • Perfective Maintenance

This guaranteed the stability and operability of one of its key systems for the development of its business.
